Ellen Weatherford is a wildlife enthusiast and science communicator from northeast Florida, now living in western Washington state. Outside of podcasting, she finds joy in video games and spending time in nature with her family. Ellen’s love for podcasts started with This American Life and RadioLab when she was 11 years old, and love for animals goes back further than she can remember. She hopes that Just the Zoo of Us will inspire in others the same love and appreciation for our animal friends.

Christian Weatherford studied Computer Science at the University of North Florida and now works in IT Security. Originally from northeast Florida, he now lives in western Washington state. His passions include science fiction, video games and tabletop games, and cooking. He finds inspiration in learning about the mechanisms of the natural world and hopes that a better understanding of our ecosystem will inform our relationship to the Earth.
